Actually no, I've never herd of him before, but since you asked, I kinda checked out some of his stuff. Its not something I would mainly listen to, but the guy can damn well play. Race With The Devil on a Spanish Hwy is pretty damn cool i must say. Its like jazz/blues with kinda rock influenced bits.

yeah it really called fusion, but it clever, nonetheless! i have the album "kiss my axe", and like yngwie, the more u listen, the more u realize it's the keyboard player that really rocks. chick corea is amazing with al di meola.
